Interested in Interning for Elyse Myers Design?

This is a unique opportunity to work with a freelance graphic designer based out of Indianapolis. Elyse Myers Design is owned and operated by Elyse Myers, a branding, packaging, and print designer. Elyse Myers Design has dozens of Indiana-based clients as well as clients all over the country. I am looking for an intern to work remotely on individual and collaborative graphic design projects.

 

Job Brief:

The graphic design intern will be helping Elyse Myers Design with overflow work from her clients. You will also be assisting with new client work. Specifically looking for someone interested in print and branding design. You will have the unique opportunity to work remotely from home or wherever you decide to spend your time! You will be required to attend weekly check-ins to go over current projects over Zoom. The internship will require 10-20 hours of work per week. Projects must be turned over in a timely fashion.

 

Compensation:

Yes, this is a PAID internship. The intern will receive an $800 stipend at the conclusion of the internship.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be a Junior or Senior in a University Graphic Design Program
  • Proven graphic design experience through coursework (please include your portfolio in your application)
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas
  • Up to date with Adobe CC (Specifically in Illustrator and Indesign)
  • MUST MUST MUST be self-motivated and able to work quickly and stay organized.
  • Familiar with print production techniques (such as packaging a document for sharing or printing)
